About Us

My name is Irene, and I have been teaching music since 2008, however I have built up my music career skills on and off between raising a family over the past 50 years. I come from a European musical family, who played various musical instruments and were well known in bands and orchestras across Europe. With this, this is where I get my musical strengths and knowledge from.

I have studied with the Australian Guild Music Education and have obtained a Bachelor of Music degree specializing in Pedagogy and a Licentiate of teaching. I also have and Associate Diploma of Piano teaching and a member of the ASMC having an Associate Diploma in Music Education.

I am currently completing a Graduate Certificate in special Education to work with those with special needs young and mature

I am also a healthcare professional which with both careers compliment and blend my talents in my music teaching. Over the years, I have successfully taught and nurtured students who like to learn for themselves or wish to do exams, in both areas, they have done exceptionally well and this encourages them to excel further and wanting to move forward in their music.

I also have the pleasure of teaching music in schools over the years.

My specialty instruments taught are Piano, Keyboard, Guitar & Music Theory. These instruments are taught for leisure or graded with examination board of choice.

These lessons are conducted in my studio and online classes are also offered 

I encourage students to display their music knowledge and confidence with an recital at the end of the year, this gives them a chance to really shine and building their confidence to perform to an audience

I have a current Working with Children and Police Check with an NDIS workers check and I am currently going through the processes of being an NDIS provider
